Biking's really the "in" thing
these days, and so we are not alone. All over Maryland, Virginia,
West Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, the District, and as far and
as wide as you want to roam, there are tours going on every week
and everywhere throughout the season. There are, of course, many more than we can
list here, but here's a sampling of biking Web sites where you can gather
more information. Happy trails! |

Rehoboth Beach Bicycle Weekend October 4 -
6, 2002
(Registration for this weekend has closed.)
A gorious bicycle weekend in delightful Rehoboth Beach, Delaware,
approximately a three-hour drive from Washington, DC. A great place
to cycle after the summer crowds have departed. Rides range from 7
to 100 miles on scenic roads and pass through farmland, quaint
historic villages, quiet ponds and ocean beaches. Terrain is flat,
but it can be windy. Rides are scheduled for Friday, Saturday and
Sunday.
