Every dollar you raise helps us address the critical issues of our community such as youth at risk, education, environment, health and international understanding.  The Rotary Club of Damascus Foundation, founded in September 2000, was established by a group of dedicated volunteers to address these critical issues in the Upper Montgomery County Maryland area.

We provide funding for programs such as one we sponsored with a local secondary education institution to implement an after-school skills and strategy based learning program for at-risk youth, programs such as a spelling bee for local educational institutions designed to enhance self-confidence and strengthen the educational process of area youth and programs such as a grant recently issued to the Carol Jean Cancer Foundation to sponsor children and their families with or recovering from serious forms of cancer at a special needs summer youth camp located in the Upper Montgomery County area.

With your help, we hope to extend our assistance even more in the coming year to other worthy programs.
