Rotary's service to the community of Montgomery County doesn’t end at the County Borders. The Club has a variety of special projects and programs that promote international understanding and goodwill.

Polio Plus Rotarians give strong support to Rotary International's programs for the needy, such as Polio Plus. This program is dedicated to eradicating the polio virus and has now vaccinated more than two billion children around the world. There have been no new cases of polio reported in North America since 1993.

Youth Exchange Program The Club participates in a youth exchange program where students aged 15 to 19 go abroad or come to the United States under the auspices of the Rotary Youth Exchange program, either for the academic year or an extended period of time. The program is designed to increased self-awareness and global perspective for the participant and would not be possible without the commitment of the many volunteer host families and the dedication of those Rotarians who serve as Youth Exchange officers.
