| The Damascus Community Spelling Bee is a community service project designed to enhance self-confidence, strengthen educational processes and improve the public speaking skills of our area youth. The event is restricted to the elementary- and middle-school students. The event occurs during the month of April. Our club organizes and administers the event with the support of the Scripps-Howard National Spelling Bee organization. |
